Undoing the Desk: How to Stay Fit in a Desk-Bound World

How long do you sit each day? How long do you sit in a car? At work? On your couch? Most people in today's modern societies sit way too much. But did you know that sitting too much can actually kill you?

If that sounds scary, take a deep breath and keep reading. We have a proven method of mental and physical techniques to stay strong, healthy, (and even sexy) when our sedentary lives and 9-5 jobs make it hard to do so.  At this presentation for the Atlanta Rotaract Club (open to Rotaract members and non-members alike), we'll show you how to strengthen your core, correct your shoulder and back posture, and get your booty moving to undo all the damage that sitting at a desk too long can do.

After you participate in this workshop, you'll be armed with no-sweat muscle activation techniques, breathing exercises, and mindfulness skills that will help you move and lead better, both in and outside of work.
